Busy Bodies Ethos

Busy Bodies Day care has a ‘Home from Home’ approach, offering children of all ages from 0-4 years the opportunity to mix together, learning to respect each other’s uniqueness and cultural differences while valuing the importance of equality and diversity.

Our child centred approach helps to guide children to learn and develop, building their confidence and independence to explore new activities and form relationships. Our key person approach offers all children invaluable support from experienced, professional, and caring staff. Working with the EYFS we identify children’s development needs, likes, and dislikes, organising activities to enrich their learning through play.

Our outdoor environment provides an area for children to discover the natural surroundings, develop a rich sense of ‘I can do’ attitude involving supervised risk-taking to help build their resilience, giving them the space to move, run and play to promote physical health.

Our setting focused curriculum has been written to offer and bring out the best outcomes for all children, working with parents, and where necessary external professionals, we help children to achieve their best potential, and to eventually become ‘school ready’ making transitions as smooth as possible.
